Activities

After: Scottish Scouts offer home hospitality to the Overseas Scouts for up to a week

Fife Area Scouts send a contingent of Scouts ( boys & girls) to every International Jamborette at Blair Atholl.

The '98 Jamborette was no exception and Fife Area Scouts sent 30 Scouts to represent Fife. In Cupar, we were fortunate enough to have 5 of our Scouts selected.

The format of Blair Atholl Jamborette is tried and proven over 52 years. - The camp is divided into six Subcamps, each named after a Clan, and each subcamp chief being called "uncle". Each Scots Patrol is paired with a Patrol from another nationality - they camp next to each other, they cook together, they take part in activities together - by the end of the camp each foreign Scout has paired off with a Scots' Scout and is taken home for 'Home Hospitality' for up to a week.
